Business CEO’s and the Presidential Election

posted: November 14th, 2016

A few CEO's with large businesses have been using their position and power over their employs to intimidate and even threaten them for their political affiliations, this is an unacceptable form of discrimination. Some have even made derogatory and threatening statements about the President-Elect, I understand they have the same rights as all of us, freedom of speech. The real issue here is that it appears the company's they work for have the same position, so I will exercise my right to boycott these company's and encourage everybody else to do the same. You know who they are, this information is all over social media.

Do these individuals think their brand names are really strong enough to alienate half the population of the United States and offend countless people around the world, and still be able to enjoy the profit margins that make their outlandish salaries and bonuses possible. Do they realize that the trickle-down effect of lost revenue could result in innocent hard working employees being laid off? Do they even care?

The only silver lining in this dark cloud is that they will have to answer to their board of directors, and we can only hope they will be held accountable.
